Giving practical exposure to students through an internship: Global skills foundation NGO
The internship is the first phase for any person aspiring to work in their dream organization but to fall into a freshers category and getting rejected just because you don’t have experience in any industry disheartens people and when they get an opportunity of internship it kicks their career at another level.
I also got a chance to be an intern at Globalize skills foundation NGO where I learnt how to work in different positions and then showcase my skills for the GSF NGO, here I handled social media, created content for the website, also I suggested brand logo and designed it for them.
In less time I have learnt a lot from GSF NGO and executed my work for them, I got so many supporting mentors who taught me so much and the work culture which I have seen in other organizations, here there is an opposite scenario there is no pressure at all neither time constraint, they have a deadline but it is easy and convenient to work. They have taught me that an intern is a seed that blossoms in any organisation when nurtured properly, I had a great experience learning and working at GSF NGO and I still have a lot of time here to learn and grow more.
